Kicking off Sony’s 2017 Lost in Music campaign with The Chainsmokers, Mission created the staggeringly ambitious, star-studded event The Beginning, an immersive experience in an LA airplane hangar featuring VR content and hyper-real production.

This unforgettable expedition to the frontier of music and technology, held at LA Hangar Studios, showcased the wider brand and celebrated Sony’s product capabilities. Custom virtual reality content mirrored the production of the space, taking guests on a magical transformation from serene winter forest to a special summer festival with the Chainsmokers. Part-immersive theatre, part music festival, part crazy warehouse rave, the event pushed the boundaries of music and technology to create an epic experience that nobody will forget.
