Tonight will go down in history as the night that J.Crew said “Hello London” and never looked back. The iconic American retailer has chosen Regent Street in the heart of London’s premier shopping district as the location of its first flagship store outside of North America.
J.Crew opened its doors for the first time, giving an array of high profile guests a sneak preview of the much-anticipated Regent Street Store before the official opening on Friday 8th November.
The Regent Street location houses separate women’s and men’s stores, each with its own designated entrance along with crewcuts, J.Crew’s destination for kids. The womenswear offering features a carefully edited selection, including J.Crew Collection, in the most special fabrics and prints, Italian cashmere and a dedicated shoe and handbag salon.
Menswear offers the full range of the renowned Ludlow suit, shirting, shoes and everything in-between alongside items from J.Crew’s ‘In Good Company’ – a collection of brand partnerships hand selected by the design team.

With a reputation as the fashion pack’s favourite retailer, it was no surprise that the great and the good of the London scene were eager to welcome J.Crew with open arms. Notable faces included Daisy Lowe, Donna Air and James Middleton, Natalie Massenet, Tommy Hilfiger, Nicky Haslam, Patrick Cox, Kim Hersov, Seb and Heidi Bishop, Angela Scanlon, Oliver Cheshire and Amy Molyneux.
Guests were treated to an array of canapés including Brancaster lobster brioche rolls with roast tomatoes, Cumberland sausages and mustard mash and black bean soft shell tacos with cheese and chilli. They drank Pol Roger champagne, Jalapeno margaritas and watermelon martinis.
The UK Flagship J.Crew will be open to the public from Friday 8th November at 165 Regent Street, London, W1
