On Friday, 12th September, Microsoft collaborated with London Fashion Week’s rising stars, Fyodor Golan, to challenge the way people perceive catwalk shows, combining smart technology and fashion together. 

Images captured live on the Lumia 830 smartphones were used to twist reality with advanced CGI technology; the show was projected in real time onto the inverted pyramid screen within the catwalk – merging fashion and smart technology and connecting the audience with the modern collection in a unique way.

The Lumia 830 offers stunning design and flagship innovations such as the 10-megapixel PureView camera with Optical Image Stabilisation, which live captured Fyodor Golan’s show in real-time to help blend the reality of modern shapes, colours and materials of the collection that was inspired by the digital age.

The event with Fyodor Golan and The Fashion Innovation Agency showcases the Microsoft Devices Group’s commitment to push innovation with products that are functional, yet meaningful – in this case to collaborate and reinvent the catwalk show with Lumia colours, materials, design and Microsoft Windows software.
