Tiffany & Co. launches Fifth & 57th at Old Selfridges Hotel #SelfridgesxTiffany

Tiffany & Co. will mark the opening of its new boutique at Selfridges with an installation titled “Fifth & 57th” the corner where Tiffany’s iconic New York flagship is located, known around the world as the crossroads of style and luxury.

The exhibition explores the Big Apple in a myriad of experiences: sights and sounds of New York City at the onsite cinema, which features a montage of films on the launch of the new Tiffany CT60TM timepiece, as well as the company’s watchmaking heritage established by founder Charles Lewis Tiffany. He exemplified the famous phrase—New York Minute.

Charlie’s, a bar appropriately named for Mr. Tiffany, will be open for cocktails inspired by the installation and will host live musical performances. A Tiffany Master Engraver will also be on hand, offering complimentary hand engraving of Tiffany jewellery purchased at Selfridges during the run of the exhibition. And if that wasn’t enough, pretzels and coffee will be available from sidewalk carts, a true staple of New York’s street culture.

When arriving at the space, you’ll enter through the doors of a subway car to then stroll down Fifth Avenue, lined with buildings that have been constructed out of thousands of white boxes. A Central Park setting will be featured in the space too, with a large charming magnolia tree. Other features include a digital store front where guests can peer into the past and view Tiffany & Co. iconic window displays created by legendary window displayer Gene Moore.

Get on down to the installation, open from 3rd July to 5th July and 9th July to 12th July at the Old Selfridges Hotel, adjacent to Selfridges department store.

The Old Selfridges Hotel, 1 Orchard Street, London, W1.

12pm – 9pm daily (Sundays 12-6pm)
