Some members of Mission headed down to Broadgate Arena last week for the City Beach Volleyball Championships 2011 to raise money for charity, Action For Kids.
Geared with smiles, brightly coloured clothing and strong hands ready to dig, volley and spike, Team Mission played valiantly throughout the day.
A few scratches and bruises and a downpour of rain didn’t stop Team Mission from thrashing their opponents in the last match of the day.
Sadly, Team Mission were not the overall winners of the championships, but what a fun experience it was!
All in all a great day for a great cause.
