On Wednesday April 11 , Montblanc invited fashion and accessories editors to preview the North America debut of the Princess Grace de Monaco collection and Fine Jewelry.
Editors enjoyed a brunch at the Gramercy Park Hotel while chatting with Montblanc’s Managing Director of Jewelry, Susie Otero. Susie Otero has an impressive background in jewelry design and joined Montblanc in 2011 to create a new iconic signature for the jewelry collections at Montblanc.
Montblanc presented a series of feminine fine jewelry created in dedication to the iconic style icon, Grace Kelly. These exquisite pieces give faithful admirers of the former Princess a lovely way to wear a timeless memorial to this remarkable lady, while simultaneously supporting her charitable foundation. For the theme of this collection, Montblanc has drawn on the most essential and evocative element of the beauty of the rose: the petal.
In May 2012, Montblanc will build on the enduring success of its Montblanc 4810 Collection of ladies’ fine jewellery with the launch of an array of enticing new designs. The leitmotif of Montblanc 4810 is the celebrated Montblanc star, its six points representing the six snow-covered glaciers on the summit of the Mont Blanc. Montblanc’s distinctive rounded interpretation of the six-point star naturally lent itself to the sensuously curved rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces in the existing collection, which is now enriched with 24 new designs, including dazzlingly modern pieces such as hoop earrings, pendants and amulet bracelets – the quintessence of luxury for every day.
Lastly, Montblanc showcased a collection of silver jewelry featuring three different themes – Romance, Essence and Caractère – which can be mixed and matched at will – the collection reflects her multifaceted personality, expressing her style, capturing her moods and celebrating her inherent femininity.
