On Monday November 14th Montblanc presented the 10th Annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway. It was a night of stars and stage, benefiting Urban Arts. Megan Fox, Tracy Morgan, John Krasinski, Jesse Eisenberg, and more took part in the production. The artists enjoyed the challenging task of writing, directing, and performing these plays in 24-hours.
The six 10-minute plays were written by some of the best writers in the business and presented at the American Airlines Theater on Broadway. Other actors included Justin Bartha (The Hangover), Lake Bell (How to Make It in America), Jack McBrayer (30 Rock), Jason Biggs (American Pie), Justin Long (He’s Just Not That Into You), Amber Tamblyn, Billy Crudup, David Cross (Arrested Development), Gabourey Sidibe (Precious), Kathy Najimy (Veronica’s Closet), Laura Bell Bundy (Broadway’s Hairspray), Rutina Wesley (True Blood), and Urban Arts Board Chair Rosie Perez.
We laughed, we cried – all for a good cause. There’s nothing like a night at the theater.
