Nokia has launched a search for the nation’s amazing shots taken on its Nokia N8 smartphone 12MP camera for a groundbreaking campaign where aspiring photographers can get their images featured in a national billboard advertising campaign.
It’s the first time images taken on a mobile phone camera have been blown up to this scale for use on outdoor advertising billboards.
One winner will get their image blown up to the size of a huge 96 sheet, billboard advert and displayed near their home.
The Nokia N8 billboard competition open on March 10th and runs for four weeks, closing on April 7th. People can enter the competition by visiting Nokia UK’s Facebook page.
