As part of London Collections: Men last week (16-18.6.13), Mission was granted backstage access to Patrick Grant’s latest E. Tautz collection. We were able to capture both the catwalk and behind-the-scenes activity on two Nokia Lumia 920s, and produce a video of beautifully shot highlights.
Patrick Grant is a British fashion designer and majority shareholder of bespoke tailors Norton & Sons of Savile Row. Patrick has been credited with reinventing the formerly staid outfitter. He relaunched E. Tautz & Sons as a ready-to-wear label in 2009, for which he was awarded the Menswear Designer award at the British Fashion Awards in 2010. The video above presents the SS14 E. Tautz Collection.
The show was captured using the 920’s PureView camera, and clearly showcases its incredible low-light technology. Nokia has combined the latest generation of Back Side Illuminated (BSI) sensor, optics from Carl Zeiss and a high power short pulse dual LED flash so that its users can create beautiful photos and videos at night and indoors, as shown above.
