The LOOK LFW Show Will Be Back This September!

July 6, 2010, by kaydine

After the massive success of LOOK Magazine’s last LFW show in February at the Saatchi Gallery, we’re pleased to announce that the LOOK LFW show will be returning this September.

The high street fashion show, which is the only fashion show that has been opened to consumers during fashion week, will be back bigger and better, with more clothing that will be available in-store and online, straight after the show rather than next season and more supermodels.

In February supermodel Erin O’Connor strutted her stuff on the runway…..guess which model will be doing the same this September?

Barclaycard Unwind at Wireless

July 5, 2010, by jameslacey

Mission supported Barclaycard Unwind during Wireless Festival in Hyde Park over the weekend. Barclaycard is now the proud sponsor of Wireless, The Mercury Prize and Wembley Arena. Over the weekend they kindly hosted press, celebrities, musicians and winning Unwind users in a relaxed backstage enclosure. We ensured the right people were in, enjoying the beanbags, canopes and drinks and that Barclaycard Unwind received the ample positive press it deserved.

For anyone that was at Wireless this weekend, we hope you had fun and have managed to get the thick layer of parched earth off your legs and feet!

We’ll be sure to post more from Wireless in the coming days.

June 30, 2010, by jameslacey

The guys that run our events for Mission across all of our clients went to The Ivy for team fun after working insanely hard over the past few months in order to deliver top-notch events for the likes of Belvedere, Nokia, The Shop At bluebird and John Galliano at the Club at the Ivy itself.

However, there is no rest for the fed; over the summer Mission will be working on some very large and exciting events for many of our clients on both sides of the Atlantic.

Mission – Shortlisted for the Cannes Lions!

June 22, 2010, by jameslacey

It is with great pride that we can announce that Mission has been nominated in this year’s Cannes Lions for our work on Nokia‘s World’s Largest Sign Post.

The ambition was to make people, quite physically, stop in their tracks and think about navigation. As a commodity and tool in your phone, in your pocket.

Nokia’s sign post was, in actual fact, an absolute enormous building crane on London’s southbank, next to Tower Bridge with a large LED arrow suspended beneath it. Absolutely anyone could then submit a location in the UK that they deemed their favourite place through their phone. The sign post would subsequently turn to point in that direction and the the distance and description would appear lit up on the arrow itself.

Simple, right? Right.

Our entry nomination for the Cannes Lions can be seen by clicking anywhere you like on this sentence.
