On the cusp of London Fashion Week, Mission hosted The LOOK Magazine Fashion Show last Friday at the Saatchi Gallery off King’s Road. The only show specifically for consumers showcased the best of the high street with 11 brands showing their key AW10 pieces to an audience of keen fashionistas and celebrities.
The day was a huge success! Competition winners from across the country were treated to performances from Diana Vickers, hot new American band The Like and Gabriella Cilmi whilst sipping on a glass of champers or two, before sitting back and enjoying the catwalk show.
Plus sized cover girl Crystal Renn was amongst the high profile models strutting her stuff to a soundtrack of pumping disco Pop, granting the audience a sneak preview of this season’s key looks. Celebrity guests in attendance were X Factor star Joe McElderry, larger than life Janice Dickinson, Martine McCutcheon, Keisha Buchanan, ladies man Callum Best, new mother Danielle Lloyd, plus loads more.
Most definitely an event to be proud of! The LOOK Show brought all the glamour and excitement of Fashion Week to the consumer for one day only and we can’t wait for the next one!
