The Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup is always a hotly anticipated event and this year was no exception. On the 21st July 2013 Veuve Clicquot hosted an array of high profile guests at Cowdray Park Polo Club for the most iconic final of the season – this year played out between Dubai and Zacara.
Embodying Veuve Clicquot’s style, touch and twist this year, guests enjoyed a 1950’s inspired event, paying tribute to the first ever Vueve Clicquot Gold Cup Polo in 1956. Vintage touches included swing dancers who performed for guests and a Veuve Clicquot Juke Box, on which guests were able to choose the music played during the afternoon.
Guests included Charlotte Dellal, Daisy Lowe, Edie Campbell, Portia Freeman, Raymond Blanc, Tom Hooper, Olivia Grant, Otis Ferry, Patrick Grant, Katie Hillier, Jodie Kidd with husband Andrea Vianni and their son Indigo.
To celebrate the event, Charlotte Olympia collaborated with Veuve Clicquot to create a limited edition capsule collection called ‘Lovely Bubbly’. Taking inspiration from the famed French Champagne house the collection contained cork, bubbles and the Veuve Clicquot signature colours.
After Zacara was announced as the winner of the prestigious Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup, guest were welcomed back to the tent to the sound of DJ Daisy Lowe, who kept guests dancing to the very end.
